PaletteReveal is built on a privacy-first architecture: we store almost nothing about you. This page tells you exactly what data lives where, and how to remove anything you'd like gone.

Quick answer Photos you upload never leave your browser — there's nothing on our servers to delete. Cookies and local storage live on your device, and you control them. The only data we hold long-term is email correspondence (if you've contacted us) and order records (if you've purchased the premium PDF). Both are deletable on request.

If you're in the EU, UK, EEA, California, or another jurisdiction with data-protection legislation, you have the right to:

How to request deletion

  1. Email [email protected] from the email address you used (or specify which email/order you want removed if it differs).
  2. Include the subject line "Data deletion request" so it gets prioritized.
  3. Tell us briefly what you'd like deleted: email correspondence, an order record, an account (when accounts are enabled), or all of the above.
  4. We respond within 30 days, usually within 2–3 business days.

You don't need to give a reason. We don't make you "verify your account" through pointless hoops. We just need to confirm the request comes from the right person — usually replying from the same email is enough.

What we cannot delete (and why)

Self-serve cleanup (no email needed)

You can do most of this yourself in 30 seconds, no email required:

  1. Reset the tool: open the tool, click the Reset button. All current samples and image previews are wiped from memory.
  2. Reload the page: any in-memory state is gone.
  3. Clear site data: in your browser, clear cookies and storage for palettereveal.com. Removes your cookie-consent record and any preferences.
  4. Revoke Google ad personalization: Google Ads Settings → opt out.

After those four steps, there's nothing left on your device or in our active systems related to your visit, except the 30-day server access log (which deletes itself).

If you have an account (future)

When user accounts are enabled (purchases, dashboard, saved palettes), this page will be expanded with self-serve "Delete my account" controls inside your account settings. For now, account-related deletion is handled by emailing [email protected].
