Is Palette Reveal accurate?
The engine uses the CIE Lab perceptual color space and the same twelve-season system used by professional color analysts. Accuracy depends heavily on photo quality: natural daylight, no filters, no heavy makeup, and a neutral background give the most reliable result. On well-lit photos we typically agree with an in-person analyst around 80–85% of the time. For borderline neutrals or olive undertones, multiple photos help.
Do you store my photo?
No. The photo never leaves your browser. Our backend only receives the RGB color values you sampled — typically 3–9 numbers per analysis. We do not run facial recognition, biometric matching, or AI training on your image. Read our Privacy Policy for the full statement.
Can lighting affect the results?
Yes, significantly. Warm indoor bulbs make skin look orange; cool office light makes skin look blue; direct sun blows out highlights. Use indirect natural daylight (open window, overcast outdoor) and your camera's default settings. If a result feels off, try a different photo — the tool keeps all your samples and recomputes confidence across them.
Is Palette Reveal free?
Yes. The palette test, makeup reveal, and outfit match are free forever. A free account is required to run an analysis (so we can save your palettes, generate your premium PDF, and prevent abuse), but the analysis itself is and stays free. No credit card needed.
What do I get in the premium PDF report?
A 30+ page personalized PDF: your season identity name, twelve glow colors with hex codes, six colors to avoid, lipstick / blush / eyeshadow recommendations, jewelry metals, a wardrobe capsule guide, a printable wallet color card, and a stylist's letter explaining how to apply your palette day to day.
Can men use it?
Absolutely. Color seasons are not gendered — they describe how your natural coloring interacts with clothing and accessory shades. The makeup section is optional; the wardrobe, glasses, and metals recommendations work for any wardrobe.
How long until my Passport of Beauty arrives?
Production takes 5–7 business days because each book is printed on demand with your season. Then shipping adds 3–6 days in the EU, 5–9 days in North America, and 7–15 days in the rest of the world. Full details on our Shipping Policy page.
Do I have to create an account?
Yes — a free account is required to run an analysis. This lets us save your palettes, return to the same result on another device, generate your premium PDF, and limit abuse. Sign-up takes 20 seconds with your email and no credit card.
Which browsers work?
Latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave on desktop and mobile. We use modern Canvas APIs, so very old browsers (IE11, very old Android) may not load the upload tool. If you see a blank canvas, please update your browser or try a different device.
